Trading conditions

General

We dispatch all our goods as parcels, allowing you to track your order, in case any issues arise. The items are insured during shipment, and upon receiving the package, please check its contents. If the package and/or contents are damaged upon receipt, kindly report it to GLS immediately or within 2 days of receipt and then return the item to us. MERANNI Jewellery is not responsible for items damaged during transportation. We always pack the items with utmost care to minimize the risk of freight damage.

Delivery Time

We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible, and the delivery time may vary depending on the chosen distributor. Expect delivery with GLS to private addresses and parcel shops within 1-2 working days from Monday to Friday.

Orders placed on weekends or Danish holidays will be processed on the following working day. Longer delivery times may be expected during holidays and public holidays. If delays occur with GLS, MERANNI Jewellery cannot be held responsible.

When placing your orders with MERANNI Jewellery, it is crucial that you enter your address and delivery details correctly. You are obligated to provide the correct address for the delivery of the goods. If the provided address is not confirmed, MERANNI Jewellery reserves the right to withhold delivery of the goods and cancel the order.

Shipping

Free Delivery on orders over DKK 2.000.

When shopping at MERANNI Jewellery, we offer free delivery to the desired parcel shop in Denmark for jewelry orders over DKK 2.000. Additionally, you can use our free return label. 

Cancellation/Return Policy

You can always exchange or return items purchased on merannijewellery.dk

You have the opportunity of getting the product repaired, exchanged, money back or a price reduction, depending on the situation. 
The reclamation policy does not apply when defect, damage or wear and tear occur due to wrong usage, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear.
 
When returning, please contact service@merannijewellery.dk to receive a prepaid return label via email. Remember ask for a receipt at the post office as proof of returning the package. MERANNI Jewellery offers a 14-day full cancellation/return policy from the day you receive your items. The cancellation/return policy applies only if the item is returned in substantially the same condition and quantity. Once we receive and approve the return, we will transfer the purchase amount to your account within 14 days. We only refund the amount to the credit card used for the purchase to prevent illegal use of stolen credit cards.

Condition of the Item when Returning

You are only liable for any depreciation in the item's value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item. This means you can try the item in the same way as if you were trying it in a physical store. If the item is tried beyond what is described above, we consider it used. This means that in case of cancellation, you may receive a partial or no refund of the purchase amount. It is at MERANNI Jewellery's discretion to assess the condition of the item.

Important Note: When trying our jewellery, please avoid contact with perfume or cream, as it may leave a scent or marks on the items. We cannot accept returns if these instructions are not followed.

To receive a full refund, you must do the same as in a physical store – you can try the item but not use it.

Exchange

On the occasion of the Christmas season, the right of return will be extended to 45 days (i.e. from December 1, 2024 until January 15, 2025), after which the right of return will change to 14 days, from January 16, 2025.

All our items can be exchanged within 14 days. When returning, please contact service@merannijewellery.dk to receive a prepaid return label via email. Remember to obtain a receipt at the post office as proof of returning the package. MERANNI Jewellery will then send the exchanged items, as a new order. If in doubt, feel free to contact us at service@merannijewellery.dk

Complaints

A 2-year warranty is provided for products according to the Danish consumer law. The warranty means that you can complain about defects and deficiencies in the item that have occurred within 24 months of the purchase. This means you can either have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.

Sold-out Items

If an item you are interested in is sold out, we will contact you and inform you about the earliest possible delivery or offer you an alternative that is already in stock.

Payment

At MERANNI Jewellery, you can pay with debit cards such as Visa, VISA/Electron/Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard/Debit and Maestro.
The amount will only be deducted from your account when the items are shipped from our warehouse. All prices at MERANNI Jewellery are in the Danish currency (DKK) and include 25% VAT unless the item is for a non-EU country. See the section on CUSTOMS AND VAT. We reserve the right to change prices due to VAT increases, statutory charges, or rising silver, gold, and diamond prices. Additionally, we reserve the right to correct inventory errors, price changes, and sold-out items. No fees are charged for payment on merannijewellery.dk.

Security

Security at MERANNI Jewellery is top quality, as all communication between our payment system and the cardholder takes place through an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer). This means that only PBS has access to your data. Neither MERANNI Jewellery nor any unauthorized parties have the ability to view the data exchanged during purchase. At MERANNI Jewellery, your personal contact information is 100% confidential, and we guarantee that no one else can access it.

Customs & VAT

If you order from an EU country, Danish VAT is paid, but no customs duties are applied according to the rules of free movement of goods. Items sent from MERANNI Jewellery cannot be sent as gifts to countries outside the EU.

If you order from a non-EU country, local taxes and customs duties may be applied, and MERANNI Jewellery is not responsible for these. However, Danish VAT will be deducted. If this is the case, you will be contacted by the shipping company. Please be aware that this may result in a delay in shipping, as the items are held in customs. It is your responsibility to contact the shipping company and pay the additional costs.

Information about Complaint Options

A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to Nævnenes Hus, Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaint Portal for Nævnenes Hus. The mediation team will attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation, and if a solution cannot be found, you can bring the complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board.

As a general rule, it is a prerequisite for filing a complaint that the item or service you want to complain about has cost at least DKK 1,110 and no more than DKK 100,000. These limits may be changed. You must pay a fee to have the complaint processed.
